We like to "reward" our members with awards.  So on those occasions when a member does something way above and beyond what would be expected, they can receive an award.  We have a Sparkle Award which is given annually to a member who stands out, not just one month, but all year long.  And then we have the  Star Award.  This is given at our monthly meetings to a member that has done something that needs to be recognized.  If you know someone in the chapter who has done something unselfish and charitable beyond even the high levels that Decorative Painters are used to, please contact  Jo Langan and let her know.

Claudelle Lyall received the Star Award for January.  She was recognized for all her hard work carrying all the Chapter Store items back and forth. 

It is not an easy job, but Claudelle is doing a great job.  Congrats!!!

Each year the award is designed anew to try to match the personality of the recipient.
