received 5-year certificate from SDP.
The
kits that come from Plaid need to be sent to Plaid by each member by October 1st.
National
Convention was wonderful over a13, 000 attended, 25 different Countries were
represent. There were 299 members who tried for their CDA only 7 from Still
Life and 14 from Stroke passed.
SDP
will be having a contest in 2008 to see how many members we can get to join our
chapter and SDP. The prize will be a three-day seminar that is free with
Neadeen Masters using Traditional Paints.

Carolyn
is working on an October Retreat project for Friday night. It is a seven inch square material bowl that
members will paint on and then donate it to Lane County for their food share
program.
Someone
asked if we should buy a set of traditional paints for chapter use. Nothing decided.
Our
chapter will give a prize at State Fair for Best of Class in Adult amateur decorative
painting and Portland Chapter Raindrops will give prize for Best Stokework.
Points

membership for current year will receive 50 points for snowman stampede.

Peterson was given the star Award for doing printing of tickets, etc. and other
things she has printed for chapter.

what she painted at convention.
