Meeting called to order by Judi Mecham at 9:00 am

 

Special Announcements: Judi thank chapter for the $500.00 to go to national. Judi told members she is now married last name is Mecham. The gals staying at Judi’s house during Misha’s seminar gave Judi a wrought iron planter.

 

Guests: Donna S. – Norma friend.

Marie G. – Judy Rae daughter-in-law

 

Minutes: approved as read.

 

Treasurer’s: will be putting in $1,000 in CD’s for only 8 months instead of just having money in checking account.

 

Ways and means report: new items in chapter store.

 

Website/Webnews: Lori Larkey painting project for next month is now on website. Also look for a bunny rabbit to win a prize from web master. When you find it just e-mail Judi.

 

Misha donated his sample-painting piece, which was a tilt-top table. Chapter is going to raffle it off. Raffle tickets will be $1.00.

 

Green Show: Next month Lori will give details.

 

Raffle: Gift certificate for a regular meeting.

 

Memory Box: Good Job! 27 boxes came in today. Let see if we can go over that amount for April.

 

Awards:  Robin gave Emma the sparkle award for designing the candy bouquet that the chapter present to the staff of the Shilo Inn.

 

Historian:  Sam did not get the February pictures.  Judi will get them to her along with the March pictures.

 

Hospitably:  Pam thanked everyone for all the food for today.

 

Show and Tell: Judi showed pictures of her and groom as the Royal English couple (a joke). Robin showed her tabletop she painted with Micha.

 

Program: Judi Mecham taught “Stacking Snowmen” on a wood sled.  The main point of todays class was learning to brush blend.
